Delete your Gamelyx account

Applies to the Gamelyx app (package com.gamevault.app).

In the app — immediate

The fastest route deletes everything straight away, no waiting on us:

Open Gamelyx and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings → Delete account.
Confirm. The account and its data are removed immediately.

Without the app — by email

If you have uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, email support@gamelyx.app from the address the account uses, with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We reply to confirm, and delete within 30 days of confirming. Sending from the account's own address is how we check the request is yours — we cannot act on a request we cannot tie to the account.

What gets deleted

Your account: email address, username, display name, avatar.
Your library, statuses, ratings and written reviews.
Play sessions, character, stats and unlocked perks.
Connected integrations, including the Steam link and imported library entries.
Sign-in data: password hash, sign-in identities, sessions and push-notification tokens.

What is kept, and for how long

Nothing that identifies you is kept after deletion. Server logs may hold request metadata (timestamps, IP addresses, error traces) for up to 30 days as part of normal operation; they are not linked back to a deleted account and are not used for anything else. Game catalog data — titles, cover art, ratings from IGDB and Wikidata — is not personal data and stays.

Deletion is permanent. There is no undo and no export afterwards, so download anything you want to keep first.
